Annual Inspections

Every vehicle above 4500 kg registered in the province of Quebec, but not registered to a "PEP Certified" company, is required to undergo an annual mechanical vehicle inspection that conforms to the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Quebec (SAAQ). CAMOUEST is mandated by the SAAQ to perform these inspections for our customers.

Upon completion of the annual mechanical vehicle inspection required by the SAAQ, a certificate of mechanical fitness is issued and a sticker of approval affixed to the vehicle.

CAMOUEST will, upon request, perform mobile SAAQ inspections on trailers at customer locations. From approximately April to October, these inspections may be performed outside. During the rest of the year, they must be done indoors in a lighted and heated facility.

To help our customers minimize vehicle downtime, CAMOUEST will accept scheduled appointments to perform SAAQ annual inspections in our fully equipped drive-through service facility.
